I’m an infosec analyst in the UK.

I have been in the industry since 2019. My passion is offensive security and I have a background in defensive security.

I think infosec is the most interesting and challenging area of IT. To be good at it, it requires expert knowledge in a variety of domains, whereas most IT roles have you siloed in one specific domain only. It also has the ‘cool’ factor because hacking is cool, which can be both a good and bad thing.

My core competencies are on-prem Windows and Linux environments and web applications. I have a solid understanding of enterprise environments, how to both attack and defend them. The main areas I need to improve on are cloud environments, EDR evasion and iOS/MacOS.
